Vercity PFI / SPV Lifecycle Professional

Vercity are looking to recruit a PFI / SPV Lifecycle professional to join our Enhanced Lifecycle Management team as the Head of our Lifecycle Modelling Team, reporting to the Head of Enhanced Lifecycle Management.

Vercity are a PE-backed, UK market leader in strategic infrastructure, asset management and real estate advice and execution across the UK. With a particular specialism in the delivery of SPV projects we advise and manage over £30 billion of UK public sector assets and are involved in over 50% of PFI/SPI projects across the UK in a whole range of asset classes and sectors.

This role will engage with projects across the UK and every day will be different. An overview of the duties include:

The Role:

  • Lead the management and delivery of the SAM lifecycle costing workstream across the PFI portfolio including hospitals, schools and housing.
  • Deliver projects on time, on budget and to the agreed service scope and quality standards.
  • Price the lifecycle implications of variation changes, ranging from simple works to multi-million pound projects.
  • Produce lifecycle reprofiles based upon new condition surveys, including appointment and management of the surveyors.
  • Update existing lifecycle models for actual expenditure, variations, inflation and latest 5 year plan.
  • Lead relationship and performance management of Vercity's strategic providers.

The Candidate:

  • FM and Asset Management experience, ideally within a PFI / SPV environment.
  • Comprehensive understanding of lifecycle and whole life costing principles.
  • Experience of developing lifecycle plans and models and presenting the same.
  • Experience of CAFM systems, lifecycle planning systems and reporting tools.
  • Experienced in advising clients on options around lifecycle fund management.
  • Experience of interpreting complex information and undertaking analysis of information from differing sources to formulate a conclusion.
  • Qualified Quantity Surveyor (QS).
