Head of Liquidity Stress Modelling – London

A global financial institution is seeking a senior liquidity risk professional to lead its global liquidity stress testing framework across regulatory, internal management and resolution-planning scenarios.

Role Overview

The role will oversee liquidity model development, validation, back-testing and governance, while acting as the key subject-matter expert for regulatory engagement and ILAAP submissions. You will advise senior Treasury leadership, influence funding and liquidity strategy, and lead an international team of liquidity modelling specialists.

Key Requirements

  • Extensive liquidity risk and stress-testing experience within a major financial institution
  • Strong knowledge of LCR, NSFR, ILAAP and regulatory liquidity frameworks
  • Advanced experience in model development, validation, governance and scenario analysis
  • Strong understanding of Global Markets products and Funds Transfer Pricing
  • Technical capability across Python, SQL, or R
  • Direct regulatory and senior stakeholder engagement experience
  • Proven leadership of teams across multiple locations
