Head of Local Link
As Head of Local Link, you'll lead the delivery of resident-focused housing services across a region, ensuring residents receive high-quality support throughout their journey with Southern Housing. From welcoming residents into their homes to resolving complex neighbourhood issues, you'll ensure our teams provide a positive, responsive and effective service.
You'll provide strategic and operational leadership across a range of housing services, including neighbourhood management, home ownership and independent living. Working closely with fellow Heads of Local Link and key stakeholders, you'll help drive consistency, service improvement and resident satisfaction across the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing high-performing teams that deliver excellent resident services.
- Driving the successful delivery of the Local Link model across your region.
- Taking ownership of operational performance and continuously improving services.
- Building strong relationships with local authorities, partners and community stakeholders.
- Using resident feedback and performance data to improve outcomes.
- Managing budgets, contracts and resources effectively.
- Leading on complex cases, neighbourhood improvement plans and complaint resolution.
- Supporting resident involvement through panels, consultations and engagement activities.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety, regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Acting as a visible and inclusive leader who inspires teams to deliver their best every day.

What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced housing professional with a passion for delivering excellent resident experiences and leading teams through change.

- Experience leading frontline housing, neighbourhood or resident services teams.
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills.
- Experience improving services and delivering positive outcomes for residents.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Sound knowledge of housing management and resident-focused services.
- The ability to analyse performance information and make informed decisions.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing change and driving continuous improvement.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
