Your responsibilities:
Shape insight, strengthen decisions and lead financial performance.
We’re looking for an experienced finance leader to join us as Head of Management Accounting. You’ll ensure our management accounts, budgets and latest estimates are accurate, timely and insightful, giving teams across the business the clarity they need to delivery our goals.
Leading the Management Accounting team, you’ll strengthen reporting, optimise systems and processes and turn complex data into meaningful commercial insight. You’ll partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Innovation & Development to support better decisions and sustainable performance.

- Lead and develop a talented team: Create clarity, build capability and support Management Accountants at different stages of their careers to perform at their best.
What you’ll bring:
-
Management accounting expertise: Strong, relevant management accounting experience (at least 3 years post qualified), combined with commercial experience and a track record of producing high quality accounts, budgets, forecasts and analysis.

People leadership: Experience of management and developing a team of Management Accountants with varying levels of experience.

Analytical and systems capability: Excellent analytical skills, strong numeracy and good IT capability. Experience of implementing or using integrated systems would be an advantage.

Clear, influential communication: Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge constructively, simplify complexity and influence stakeholders across the business.

The right mindset: A team player who is resilient, curious, detail conscious and decisive, with the ambition to make an impact in a senior FMCG finance role.
The role is based in Leeds, where our hybrid model is 2/3 days a week in the office. You will be required to travel to our Leyland Production site and other external locations for face-to-face collaboration and to meet business requirements.
