Head of Manufacturing | Household Care | Hertfordshire (4 days on site)

I'm partnering with a high-growth, purpose-led household care business that's disrupting a £100bn+ category with natural, refillable, planet-friendly products. Founder-led and scaling rapidly, they've built a loyal subscriber base in the hundreds of thousands, delivered multi-fold sales growth, and earned a place on some of the UK's most recognised fast-growth rankings.
As production scales to meet demand, they're now looking for a Head of Manufacturing to own the full manufacturing operation and build it for the next stage of growth.

The role
- Full ownership of manufacturing: production, engineering, maintenance, HSE and continuous improvement
- Driving improvements in OEE, throughput, yield and downtime across multiple lines
- Embedding Lean / CI / TPM frameworks to grow capacity without proportional cost
- Owning CAPEX strategy, the manufacturing budget and cost savings delivery across all sites
- Leading the co-manufacturing and outsourcing strategy and supplier relationships
- Partnering with Supply Chain to align production with demand and inventory
- Building and developing a high-performing manufacturing leadership team
What you'll bring
- Experience in hands on manufacturing leadership, ideally in regulated FMCG
- Strong Lean, CI and TPM credentials
- Experience scaling multi-line, multi-site operations under growth pressure
- A credible, people-focused leadership style with high operational standards
- Confidence working cross-functionally with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics and external partners
- Energy for a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving
- A genuine connection to sustainability and quality
