We are partnering with a leading UK food manufacturing business to appoint an experienced Head of Manufacturing on an initial fixed-term contract of at least 12 months.
This is a rare opportunity to take responsibility for a significant multi-site manufacturing operation at a pivotal point in its evolution. The business combines a strong heritage, exceptional culture and ambitious growth plans, supported by substantial ongoing investment across its manufacturing network.
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading operational performance, developing capability and helping deliver the next phase of transformation across multiple locations.

The Opportunity
You will provide strategic and operational leadership across a large manufacturing portfolio, ensuring the business continues to deliver outstanding standards in safety, quality, service, cost and people performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a large, complex, multi-site manufacturing operation.
- Drive operational excellence across safety, quality, service and cost performance.
- Lead within a dynamic environment undergoing significant change and transformation.
- Develop and coach leadership teams across multiple sites.
- Improve accountability, consistency and performance through disciplined KPI management.
- Build and maintain a culture centered on people, engagement and continuous improvement.

About You
We are looking for a credible manufacturing leader who brings:
- Significant experience leading multiple manufacturing sites within food manufacturing or a related high-volume sector.
- A track record of delivering results in complex operational environments.
- Strong change leadership experience.
- The ability to influence, challenge and inspire at all levels.
- Clear personal values and a genuine commitment to treating people well.
