About The Job

Context

The North Europe SiA function is on a unique growth journey, with a renewed vision focused on delivering deeper and more actionable insights on people/consumers, customers, and markets—both today and tomorrow (foresight). With this new vision, SiA aims to increase its impact and scale up its influence in decision-making by providing relevant insights.

Market Intelligence is a key subsection of the team, with the primary role of identifying the latest performance insights and guiding business partners on how Danone can improve its competitiveness. With access to various data points (household panel data, retail panel data, brand health tracking, and others), it is uniquely positioned to find meaningful data connections that lead to insights enhancing Danone’s business performance.

In this context, we need a leader in this area, to join our team, drive performance insights, and embed them in an effective and actionable way to impact business growth!

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the Market Insight team for North Europe, comprising market insight managers and execs across the region. Member of the Insight leadership team, and the extended Marketing leadership team for North Europe.
  • Be a key member of a project team looking to deliver an AI driven tool that brings together all our continuous data sets into an agent providing self-serve on performance diagnostic.
  • Lead and develop our relationship with continuous data agencies such as Circana, Worldpanel, Kantar, Curve (social listening) etc, including contract and budget management.
  • Work with the Category Development team to ensure we have a credible and affordable external data procurement strategy across the region, which is also fit for future needs.
  • Create an infrastructure and culture to drive deep, holistic performance understanding at both market and Danone levels (cross-category or category), showing performance trends and dynamics at various levels (cross-category, sub-categories, brands, sub-brands, channels, price tiers, and others).
  • Leverage and elevate a best in class Thought Leadership/Macro Trends programme to ensure awareness of market trends and opportunities across the NE organisation.
  • Work with global and local teams to co-ordinate and lead Shopper Insight across the region.
  • Leads capability programmes to ensure sales, marketing and finance teams across the region understand and can utilise external data sets correctly and effectively.
  • Influence key decision-makers across all levels (cross-category, category, and SiA in zones and countries) with compelling storytelling and visualizations to drive decisions and actions that impact growth!

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
