Role Description
The Head of Market Research is a full-time, hybrid based role (office in Reading), responsible for leading Berkeley Communications’ Arlington research function to support strategic storytelling and client decision-making. This role oversees the design and execution of quantitative and qualitative market research studies, turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams. The role also includes mentoring and leading research staff, maintaining high standards of data quality and ethics, and staying current with industry best practices and emerging insights platforms.

- Familiarity with modern research tools, analytics platforms, along with a commitment to robust ethical research practices, is essential.
- Candidates should possess strong Market Research and Market Analysis skills to design, manage, and interpret comprehensive research projects.
- Candidates should possess Market Intelligence and Business Insights capabilities to translate data into clear strategic recommendations for clients and internal teams.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to work with complex datasets, select appropriate methodologies, and ensure accuracy and rigor in all findings.
- Experience leading research teams or functions within marketing, communications, or consulting environments is highly beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex findings to non-technical audiences, are required.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including PR, marketing, and brand strategy, are advantageous.
