Head of Marketing

AI | Technology Consultancy | Demand Generation | Brand Growth

Central London – Hybrid with two days a week in the office
£85,000 - £100,000

Benefits: Employer pension contribution 8%, 33 days annual leave inclusive of Bank Holidays, Gym Membership, Employee Assistance Program, Income Protection and more

Are you a commercially sharp marketer who thrives on change, challenges convention and turns ambitious ideas into measurable growth?

This is an opportunity to shape the marketing function of a growing AI consultancy, with full Board support, budget and the autonomy to make a real impact. We’re looking for a disruptor and builder, not a maintainer — someone who can bring a brand to the forefront of its target market, generate qualified pipeline and use AI to push the boundaries of what marketing can achieve.

The Opportunity

As Head of Marketing, you’ll lead a small team of three and work closely with the executive leadership team to shape the go-to-market strategy, strengthen brand positioning and generate qualified opportunities across mid-market and enterprise customers.

You’ll have the autonomy to challenge existing approaches, experiment with new channels and invest in the activity that delivers results. This is not a role for someone who needs a well-established playbook. It’s for a marketer who sees change as an opportunity, is curious about what’s next and enjoys building something distinctive.

AI is central to the business’s future, and you’ll be expected to bring that same forward-thinking mindset to marketing itself — using AI tools intelligently to improve content creation, campaign execution, insight and productivity.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • Driving Demand Generation: Own the top of the funnel - build and execute campaigns that attract the right prospects, open commercial conversations and convert interest into qualified meetings, workshops and sales opportunities.
  • Building the Brand: Own and evolve the brand, translating complex technical propositions into compelling messaging that resonates with commercial decision-makers.
  • Creating Market Visibility: Lead content, thought leadership, LinkedIn, SEO, email nurture, PR and events to establish credibility and bring the business to the forefront of its target market.
  • Turning Expertise into Opportunity: Work closely with technical specialists and senior leaders to develop relevant, differentiated content that demonstrates value and gives potential customers a reason to engage.
  • Embracing AI in Marketing: Explore and implement AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve efficiency, accelerate execution and identify new ways to reach and convert audiences.
  • Leading and Influencing: Manage a small team, external partners and agencies, while acting as a trusted marketing partner to the Board and wider leadership team.
  • Owning Commercial Performance: Manage the marketing budget, measure return on investment and demonstrate the contribution marketing makes to pipeline and revenue.

What You’ll Bring

You’ll have a strong track record in B2B technology marketing, ideally within a consultancy, professional services business, software company or high-growth technology environment.

You’re commercially minded and understand that marketing success is about more than brand awareness, impressions or engagement. You know how to connect positioning, content and campaigns to meaningful business outcomes.

You’ll also bring:

  • Experience generating demand and qualified pipeline in a B2B environment.
  • The ability to translate complex technology into clear, compelling commercial messaging.
  • Confidence owning multiple channels, particularly LinkedIn, digital marketing and thought leadership.
  • Experience managing budgets, prioritising investment and measuring performance.
  • A hands-on, entrepreneurial approach, with the confidence to make decisions and challenge convention.
  • Practical AI literacy, with a genuine interest in applying AI to marketing workflows, strategy and execution.

Experience of marketing AI, data or software engineering services would be a strong advantage, as would knowledge of AWS or Microsoft Azure partner ecosystems but curiosity, commercial instinct and the ability to communicate technical propositions effectively are equally important.

Why This Role?

You’ll join a business at an exciting point in its evolution, with the opportunity to help shape its next phase of growth rather than simply maintain what already exists.

With Board-level backing, budget and genuine autonomy, you’ll have the scope to test ideas, make bold decisions and build a marketing function that delivers measurable commercial impact.

If you’re an ambitious marketer who enjoys building momentum, thrives on change and wants to help shape how the market understands and buys AI expertise, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for.
