Job Summary
The Head of Marketing will lead the next evolution of the company’s marketing capability, bringing a demonstrable track record across ecommerce, brand, and product marketing in a business of comparable scale and complexity. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced marketing operator who can build brand equity, sharpen product and customer propositions, and turn insight into commercial growth.
The role will set the overarching marketing strategy, moving from regionally led activity to a coherent, customer-led approach to acquisition, conversion, retention, and growth. Working in close partnership with the CRO Engineer, the Head of Marketing will define the overarching customer and conversion strategy, combining insight, data, and experimentation to uncover new sources of growth as the more obvious opportunities become harder to find.
Product marketing will be a core capability. The Head of Marketing will strengthen how the company understands customer need, develops propositions, and communicates product value across its ecommerce channels, creating a stronger connection between customer insight, product, messaging, and commercial performance.
Brand leadership will be equally important. Working in close partnership with the MD, the Head of Marketing will shape how the company shows up in the market, translating the company’s vision, mission, and long-term objectives into a distinctive brand position and external narrative. They will build on the PR engine already established to grow the company's visibility, credibility, and influence.
A critical part of the mandate is to raise the ambition and capability of the marketing function. The Head of Marketing will mentor and develop the team, introducing the standards, disciplines, and thinking of a world-class ecommerce marketing organization and creating a culture that is curious, innovative, commercially accountable, and confident in testing new approaches.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
