Join us at Flogas and we’ll do right by you with training, support, benefits, and lots of opportunities to develop in our 1,350 strong team.

Flogas is powered by people who want to do energy right by customers in homes and businesses all across the country. From Drivers to Technicians, Customer Experience experts to Site Managers, Engineers to Electricians, we come together as a team of experts, to do more for our customers.

How you’ll power our business as a Head of Marketing

Flogas supplies propane and butane to tens of thousands of customers nationwide across domestic, distributor and industrial markets. As we continue to grow our market share across commercial bulk, cylinder gas and consumer channels, while expanding our renewable and lower-carbon energy offering, we are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function and play a key role in shaping the future of our business.

Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering a commercially focused marketing strategy that drives acquisition, retention and customer value across all channels. You will lead a talented team, oversee the full marketing mix, champion the voice of the customer and ensure the Flogas brand continues to support growth across both traditional LPG and emerging renewable energy markets.

This is a highly visible leadership role requiring a strategic marketer with strong commercial acumen, exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation. You will work closely with leaders across Sales, Finance and Customer Operations to deliver growth, margin and customer experience objectives while developing the next generation of marketing talent within Flogas.

Here at Flogas, we may have a fossil fuels background, but we’re working towards delivering 100% renewable energy to our customers by 2040. We’re already supporting our customers to reduce their carbon emissions, by helping them make the switch from oil to gas. We’re also developing our offering for technologies such as heat pumps and solar panels, beginning to help our customers reduce their energy consumption and evolving new bio-fuels and renewable gases. All of which means job security, and opportunities to get involved in exciting new initiatives. Join Flogas and help us do energy right for the future.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

  • Leading the marketing function to drive continued organic growth, customer retention and an improved customer experience across the business.
  • Developing and delivering the complete marketing strategy and annual marketing plan aligned to the wider business objectives.
  • Managing and optimising a marketing budget of approximately £1.8m–£2m, ensuring investment delivers maximum commercial return.
  • Using customer insight, market intelligence and performance data to identify opportunities and inform business decision making.
  • Developing compelling propositions across LPG, renewable energy and emerging energy solutions, creating clear competitive advantages.
  • Driving customer acquisition strategies through lead generation, CRM development, SEO, PPC and digital marketing activities.
  • Delivering programmes that improve customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
  • Acting as custodian of the Flogas brand, ensuring brand consistency and a clear customer-focused tone of voice.
  • Leading all customer-facing communications and supporting key internal communications activity.
  • Partnering with Sales leadership to ensure teams have the insight, collateral, technical knowledge and commercial arguments needed to win and retain business.
  • Defining, developing and implementing sustainability programmes that support the wider business sustainability agenda.
  • Building and developing a high-performing marketing team through coaching, mentoring and capability development.
  • Managing agency relationships and ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget.
  • Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business to deliver growth, margin and cost objectives.
  • Identifying new opportunities and innovation pipelines that support the future growth of renewable and lower-carbon energy solutions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
