Humanoid

Here at Humanoid, we believe in a future where robots amplify human potential. That’s why we’ve set out on a mission to build the world’s most capable, commercially-scalable, and safe humanoid robots. We’re bringing that mission to life with HMND-01 Alpha - our rapidly developed humanoid platform now running in real industrial pilots - and we’re growing the team to take it even further.

About The Role

We're looking for a Head of Marketing to own and execute the marketing and brand vision for Humanoid. You'll also own PR and communications, so the story we tell the market and the story we build as a brand are one and the same. This is a hands-on leadership role: you'll set the direction and still get into the work — writing, shaping campaigns, and shipping alongside a small, experienced team. The role reports directly to the CSMO.

What You'll Do

  • The marketing strategy. Set the marketing and brand strategy for Humanoid, and translate it into a coherent narrative and creative direction you hold consistently across brand, social, video, design, and communications.
  • PR and comms. Own how Humanoid shows up in the world - press, announcements, thought leadership, and reputation. Build relationships with media and shape the narrative so external coverage and our own storytelling reinforce each other.
  • The quality bar. Be the final judgment on the work: what ships, what gets another pass, what's on-brand and what isn't. Raise the standard of everything the team produces - and set that standard by doing, not only directing.
  • Leading the team. Direct the Brand Managers, Creative Lead and PR team: set briefs, guide ideation, review cuts and layouts, and develop the people. Stay close enough to the craft to be a genuine player-coach, not just a reviewer.
  • End-to-end execution. Oversee the arc from concept and storyboard through production to final output - and roll up your sleeves on the pieces that need your hand.
  • Brand consistency. Own and evolve the brand system - guidelines, visual language, voice - so everything from a founder deck to a social clip to a press release feels like one brand.
  • Cross-functional partnership. Work with the leadership on how the brand and narrative support Humanoid's positioning, reputation, and relationships, and partner across the company to keep marketing, comms, and product story aligned.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of relevant experience across marketing, brand, and content, ideally within a startup, scale-up, technology company, or agency, with meaningful exposure to PR and communications.
  • A solid understanding of the technology market, particularly robotics and AI, and the ability to communicate credibly with diverse audiences, from investors and the media to engineers.
  • A strong leader with experience directing creative work and delivering it. You can articulate a vision, inspire a team to execute against it, and still produce excellent work yourself when needed.
  • A proven track record of building or stewarding a distinctive brand in which product marketing plays a central role.
  • Clarity and strong creative judgement under constraints - you know how to make a small team perform far beyond its size.
  • Comfortable working closely with senior leadership, translating strategy into marketing, creative, and communications initiatives - and bringing market insights back into the strategy.
