Head of Marketing (Acquisition) - iGaming
Location: London
Our client is a fast-growing digital marketing business specializing in mobile and performance-based advertising. Operating within highly competitive and regulated digital sectors, the company combines innovative acquisition strategies with tailored mobile solutions to drive scalable customer growth across multiple channels and platforms.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and commercially minded Head of Marketing (Acquisition) to lead acquisition activity across Media Buying and Publisher channels. This is a senior leadership position and a key part of the management team, with responsibility for overseeing two established teams, each managed by its own Team Leader. The successful candidate will be a highly analytical, performance-driven marketing leader with extensive experience in digital acquisition, affiliate marketing, and paid media. Experience within regulated markets and mobile app acquisition environments is essential.
The role will focus on driving sustainable growth, improving ROI, defining KPI frameworks, and ensuring both teams operate efficiently with a strong performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop two acquisition-focused teams across Media and Publisher channels.
- Contribute as a senior member of the management team, helping shape overall business strategy and commercial direction.
- Identify and evaluate new acquisition channels and growth opportunities across media buying and publisher partnerships.
- Build a culture of accountability and ownership through regular team meetings and KPI reviews.
- Define, monitor, and optimize KPIs aligned with company growth objectives and performance targets.
- Drive testing and scaling of new traffic sources across paid media and affiliate channels.
- Improve reporting structures, operational workflows, funnels, and acquisition processes.
- Monitor daily campaign performance and implement real-time optimizations across paid acquisition activity.
- Manage acquisition budgets effectively to maximize efficiency and return on investment.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with publishers and strategic partners.
- Oversee onboarding and performance management of new publishers and traffic sources.
- Identify expansion opportunities across new geographies, verticals, and traffic types.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including Ad Operations, BI, Product, and Finance to improve scalability and operational efficiency.

Requirements:
- 8+ years’ experience within performance marketing or digital acquisition.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior leadership role managing multiple teams.
- Proven experience leading mobile acquisition teams.
- Strong understanding of mobile and performance advertising, including in-app traffic and MMP platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Branch.
- Previous experience working within regulated iGaming environments is essential.
- Experience targeting or operating within the US market would be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to interpret ROI and performance data into actionable strategy.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
- Fluent English required; additional languages are beneficial.
