Whytematter Staffing Solutions is delighted to be recruiting a commercially focused and hands-on Head of Marketing for an established and ambitious B2B technology company based in Belfast.

Our client develops software that improves the experience of using shared meeting rooms and learning spaces. Its proven products are used internationally by enterprise, education and technology customers, as well as through partnerships with leading hardware manufacturers.

The company is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is looking for an experienced marketing leader to strengthen its brand, generate measurable commercial demand and build a high-performing marketing function.

The role

This is a permanent leadership appointment that will initially provide maternity cover for the company’s Marketing Manager. During the first year, you will combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery while developing a deep understanding of the company’s products, customers, partners and routes to market.

When the Marketing Manager returns, they will report to you, allowing you to focus increasingly on leading and scaling the wider marketing function.

Working closely with the CEO and senior leadership team, you will shape marketing strategy, strengthen the company’s international market position and ensure marketing makes a clear contribution to pipeline and revenue.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a commercially focused marketing strategy, including priorities, budgets, KPIs and investment decisions.
  • Lead the rollout and ongoing management of a new brand platform.
  • Strengthen awareness and understanding of the company across enterprise, education, technology and channel audiences.
  • Own product positioning, messaging, go-to-market planning and sales enablement.
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns that generate awareness, qualified opportunities, pipeline and revenue.
  • Support OEMs, distributors, resellers, integrators and other partners through co-marketing, launches, enablement and joint campaigns.
  • Use customer research, market insight, product data and sales feedback to improve targeting, messaging and decision-making.
  • Improve marketing operations, including CRM alignment, lead management, automation, attribution, dashboards and reporting.
  • Oversee content, PR, thought leadership, executive communications, website activity, events, email and social media.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product and Customer Success to support launches, improve buyer engagement and strengthen commercial alignment.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Manager following their return.
  • Manage agencies, suppliers and other external marketing partners.
  • Recommend the future structure, skills, technology and investment required to scale the marketing function.
  • Use AI and modern marketing tools responsibly to improve the quality and efficiency of research, delivery and analysis.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
