Our client is a well-established and growing business in the UK utilities sector, providing essential infrastructure services to both commercial and residential customers. Having built a strong operational reputation over many years, the business is now investing significantly in marketing to support the next phase of commercial growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and develop a small but growing marketing team.
- Own and deliver the short and long term marketing strategy, aligned with overall business objectives.
- Develop and strengthen the company's brand positioning and market presence.
- Lead demand generation and lead generation activity to support commercial growth.
- Work closely with Sales to align marketing activity with sales objectives, target markets and revenue goals.
- Develop and manage the company's digital marketing presence, including website, content, social media, SEO and relevant digital channels.
- Build effective campaigns that generate awareness, engagement and qualified opportunities.
- Use data and performance metrics to measure marketing effectiveness and continuously optimise activity.
- Work closely with Sales and senior leadership to understand market opportunities, customer needs and commercial priorities.
- Manage external agencies and partners where required.
- Own the marketing budget and ensure investment is focused on activities that deliver the greatest commercial impact.
- Develop the company's messaging and content strategy to ensure consistent positioning across all channels.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally within the utilities, or wider infrastructure sector.
- Previous experience marketing to utilities businesses or organisations within the energy and infrastructure ecosystem.
- A strong track record in B2B marketing, with particular expertise in lead generation and demand generation.
- Experience developing and delivering both short and long term marketing strategies that support business growth.
- Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging and go to market strategy.
