The Opportunity

Burger Boi is looking for a hands-on Head of Marketing to bring focus, pace, and commercial discipline to marketing across the brand. This is not a role for someone who only builds decks or manages agencies. We need someone who can set the strategy, get activity live, support stores and openings, and prove what is working through clear performance measures.

Role Purpose

Own Burger Boi’s overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer acquisition, with particular focus on growing profitable sales, rebuilding walk-in/local-store demand, strengthening national brand activity, and creating a repeatable launch model for new locations.

What You Will Own

  • Overall marketing strategy, annual/quarterly plan, and marketing budget.
  • Brand positioning and consistent customer-facing execution across channels.
  • National campaigns and local store marketing, with a strong focus on measurable walk-in and transaction growth.
  • Customer acquisition and retention across paid, owned, social, CRM/app, and partnership channels.
  • New-store launch marketing from pre-opening awareness through opening and post-launch retention.
  • Campaign planning and performance: clear objectives, spend, ROAS, incremental sales/contribution, and learning.
  • Leadership of our Content Creation Manager and the external design/SEO/PPC resource.
  • Influencer, creator, PR, community, and partnership activity where it supports the brand and commercial objective.
  • Marketing calendar, briefs, deadlines, and cross-functional execution with Sales and Operations.
  • A simple test-and-learn pipeline: test, measure, keep/stop/change, then scale.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
