About Us

TMG (The Malachite Group) is a live entertainment company overseeing a portfolio of global music festivals and event properties such as Afro Nation, Piano People, Afrotronic and more. We curate world-class experiences and deliver unforgettable cultural moments, championing the communities we serve.

The Role

We are seeking a visionary Head of Marketing to lead brand and growth strategy across TMG’s portfolio of global festivals. This is a senior leadership position that sits at the intersection of music, culture, and business. You will be responsible for setting the long-term vision, driving innovative marketing execution, and building a globally resonant presence for our festivals, from Portugal to London to Ghana and beyond.

You’ll report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and the leadership team and oversee a multidisciplinary global marketing function. The ideal candidate is in equal parts creative strategist, business operator, and cultural architect.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Define and execute the long-term marketing vision across Afro Nation Portugal and TMG’s brand portfolio
  • Translate brand strategy into data-driven, culturally rich multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for new launches and geographic expansion

Revenue Management

  • Define ticketing targets and forecasts for all events in the TMG portfolio
  • Define ticket prices, tiers, and volumes per tier based on previous years, benchmark of other events, and real-time performance
  • Track sales against all year-long targets and adapt strategies to hit sales targets

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
