Job Summary
We are recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing UK consumer brand operating across multiple e-commerce channels, including TikTok Shop, Amazon and Shopify.
The business has established a strong position within a specialist health and wellbeing category and continues to experience significant growth through digital channels, creators, affiliates and social commerce.
As the business enters its next phase of growth, we are looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to take ownership of both the marketing function and the team delivering it.
This is a hands-on senior leadership role for someone who leads from the front, sets standards, drives performance and provides clear direction while remaining actively involved in day-to-day delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Growth & Marketing Strategy
- Own and drive the marketing strategy across key e-commerce channels, including TikTok Shop, Amazon and Shopify.
- Drive customer acquisition, brand growth and revenue performance.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of marketing campaigns, creative concepts and content opportunities.
- Use performance data and commercial insight to inform decisions and optimise results.
- Establish KPIs and performance measures for internal teams and external partners.
- Operate effectively within a fast-moving e-commerce environment, proactively adapting marketing activity to platform developments, emerging trends and changing market conditions.
- Support the business’s continued growth through effective marketing leadership and execution.

Team Leadership & Performance
- Lead and manage the marketing and content team on a day-to-day basis.
- Set clear expectations, accountability measures and professional standards.
- Address performance issues constructively and professionally when required.
- Develop team capability while maintaining high levels of performance and execution.
- Maintain a visible leadership presence within the office and encourage continuous improvement.
Talent Acquisition & Resource Management
- Lead recruitment activity across the marketing function.
- Conduct competency-based interviews and assess candidates against business requirements.
- Manage and monitor agencies, freelancers and external partners.
- Ensure the right resources are in place to support business objectives and delivery targets.

Requirements
Essential Experience
We Would Like To Hear From Candidates Who Have
- Proven experience leading a marketing function within an e-commerce, DTC or digital-first business.
- Strong people management experience, including performance management and team development.
- Demonstrated success developing and implementing commercial marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical capability with a data-led approach to decision-making.
- Experience recruiting, managing and developing marketing teams.
- Experience managing agency and external partner relationships.
- The ability to set standards, take ownership and lead from the front.
- A hands-on leadership style with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.

Desirable Experience
The following experience would also be useful:
- Experience with creator-led, affiliate, influencer or social-commerce marketing.
- Knowledge of TikTok Shop, Amazon Marketplace and Shopify.
- Experience launching products and scaling growth channels.
- Background within health, wellness, nutrition or a related high-growth consumer sector.
Benefits
Salary, Benefits & Working Pattern
On Offer Is a Permanent, Full-time Role With
- A salary of £60,000 - £70,000, depending on experience.
- Car allowance.
- Bonus and benefits scheme to be discussed at interview.
- Office-based working in Redditch, 5 days per week.
