JOINTHEREBELLION!

For 30 years we’ve been independently developing and publishing incredible video games at our multiple studios founded by Jason & Chris Kingsley, but Rebellion is more than just games. We have our own film studio, we create board games, publish books, and through 2000AD, publish comics and graphic novels such as the amazing Judge Dredd.

We're looking for a passionate, data-driven Head of Marketing to lead our marketing strategy and take our marketing, sales, product development and customer experience to the next level! Join one of the UK's leading independent multimedia studios, home to iconic IPs including Sniper Elite, Atomfall, 2000AD, and more. If you're a strategic leader with a passion for growing globally recognised brands, we'd love to hear from you!

Working as part of the senior leadership team at Rebellion, the Head of Marketing role is a key decision-maker for marketing, sales, product development and customer service to drive business growth and market share.

Responsible for the marketing strategy and development of the business, this role will take ownership of the customer interface, making sure that all functions of the organization are aligned to meet its strategic objectives.

This role will be based at our riverside headquarters in Oxford, offering a creative and relaxed atmosphere where teamwork drives our success. We can provide a relocation package, including moving assistance, temporary accommodation, and full support to ensure a smooth transition to your new environment.

  • Brand & Positioning: Define and maintain a consistent, compelling brand across all customer-facing activity, aligned with Rebellion's values and long-term vision.
  • Creative Leadership: Lead the creative direction of marketing, ensuring key art, trailers, campaigns and other assets clearly communicate the brand and product value.
  • Process Improvement: Support teams in developing effective processes and ways of working.
  • Game Lifecycle Strategy: Lead go-to-market strategy for new releases and maximise the commercial success of existing titles through performance analysis, player engagement and ongoing marketing.
  • Customer Insight: Ensure player feedback and community sentiment inform marketing strategy and future product development.
  • Commercial Performance: Drive revenue growth and maximise commercial opportunities across sales and other revenue streams.
  • Brand Management: Partner with the 2000AD, Unplugged and Film divisions to grow audiences, deliver campaigns and develop commercial opportunities aligned with the wider business.

  • Business Planning: Set forecasting and budgeting targets, creating the structure and processes needed to achieve company objectives.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
