Head of Marketing

London | Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office
£90,000 - £120,000 + benefits

Scale a £10m D2C brand to £20m and beyond.

This is an opportunity for a genuine D2C marketing operator to join a rapidly growing consumer business and lead it through its next phase of growth.

Founded in 2019, the business has already grown to a £10m+ brand with around 60,000 paying weekly subscribers. Now the ambition is to reach £20m and beyond, with subscriber growth at the heart of the strategy.

The core customer is the millennial woman, and the opportunity is to build a bigger, more recognisable consumer brand while continuing to deliver the commercial growth behind it.

The opportunity

This is a newly created senior marketing role, working directly with the founders and owning the marketing strategy, budget, brand, acquisition, lifecycle and team.

The business is looking for someone who has already scaled a D2C brand and understands what it takes to move a consumer business through this stage of growth.

This isn't a role for someone who has spent their career in a large corporate marketing function.

They need someone entrepreneurial, commercially minded and hands-on - someone comfortable making decisions quickly, getting into the detail and being accountable for the numbers.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Taking the business from £10m to £20m+
  • Making subscriber growth the central marketing priority
  • Owning a significant marketing budget and commercial performance
  • Driving acquisition, conversion and retention
  • Managing a channel mix across Meta, Google, TV, OOH, influencers and partnerships
  • Using CAC, LTV, payback, retention and cohort data to make decisions
  • Building greater brand awareness and relevance with a millennial female audience
  • Leading and developing the existing marketing team
  • Working closely with the founders, Product, Tech and Design teams
  • Building the marketing engine required for the next stage of scale

What makes this different?

The business already has traction, customers and revenue. This isn't about proving whether the proposition works.

It's about scaling it significantly.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the strategy, influence the founders and build the marketing function around the next stage of growth.

They want someone who has been through this journey before - someone who has taken a D2C/consumer business through a similar scale-up and understands the balance between brand, performance and commercial growth.

If your background is primarily large corporate marketing, this probably isn't the role for you.
