Head of Marketing (Acquisition)

We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Head of Marketing (Acquisition) to lead acquisition efforts across Media and Publisher channels. This is a senior leadership role, forming part of the company’s management team, overseeing two teams – Media and Publishers – each led by their own team leader.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven, performance-focused leader with deep expertise in digital acquisition, affiliate marketing, and media buying. Proven experience in regulated markets and mobile app acquisition is essential. The role is responsible for driving sustainable growth, optimizing ROI, defining and tracking KPIs, and ensuring both teams operate with clarity, efficiency, and a high-performance mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop two acquisition teams (Media and Publishers), each managed through their respective team leaders.
  • Act as an integral member of the management team, directly shaping decision-making and overall company strategy.
  • Continuously identify and explore new channels and growth opportunities across both media and publisher landscapes.
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability through structured weekly team syncs and monthly KPI reviews.
  • Define, set, and monitor KPIs for both teams, ensuring alignment with company strategy, monthly performance targets, and growth objectives.
  • Drive the identification and testing of new traffic sources across both media buying and publisher channels.
  • Establish and optimize reporting structures, workflows, funnels, and operational processes.
  • Review daily performance and drive real-time optimization across all paid acquisition channels.
  • Manage and oversee acquisition budgets on a weekly basis, ensuring efficient allocation and spend.
  • Lead regular team syncs to align priorities, performance, and execution focus.
  • Oversee communication with publishers and conduct regular one-on-one calls with key partners.
  • Manage the onboarding of new publishers and traffic sources.
  • Drive growth strategy by identifying new partnership opportunities across geographies, verticals, and traffic types.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (AdOps, BI, Product, Finance) to improve efficiency, scalability, and data quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
