Embassy of Beauty · Kensington Church Street, London · On-site full time.

Own the marketing, e-commerce and clinic P&L for a luxury beauty brand scaling on two fronts. You'll run our established London business, including the Kensington Church Street clinic, while we build Embassy of Beauty in the US, setting strategy, driving revenue and leading the team across both markets, reporting directly to the founders. This is a senior commercial role with real ownership of budget, P&L and people, and real autonomy: once the US build-out is underway, you'll be the most senior operator on the ground in London day to day, without a founder in the building.

The opportunity

Embassy is at an inflection point. We've built a destination on Kensington Church Street combining e-commerce, retail and a treatment clinic, and we're now launching in the US. This role leads marketing, e-commerce and clinic performance through that next phase: sharpening the UK engine while helping stand up a second market from the ground up. We need someone who can run things independently and tell us the truth about how they're going, not just someone who can present a strategy.

What you'll own

Commercial & P&L

  • Own the marketing, e-commerce and clinic P&L, revenue, margin and marketing spend efficiency
  • Set and execute the strategy against commercial targets across the UK and US
  • Allocate budget across channels for return, not just reach

Brand & Marketing

  • Lead brand positioning, messaging and storytelling across every channel
  • Plan and deliver integrated campaigns spanning digital, social, PR, influencer and partnerships
  • Protect brand consistency across every customer touchpoint and both markets

E-commerce & Digital Growth

  • Own e-commerce strategy, performance and revenue targets
  • Drive website performance, UX/UI and conversion rate optimisation, with genuine day to day fluency in Shopify (products, collections, handles), not just oversight of the platform
  • Lead retention, CRM and lifecycle strategy and loyalty engine
  • Manage online merchandising, product launches and promotional planning

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Clinic

  • Own clinic commercial performance against the FY27 revenue growth target, working closely with the Head of Clinic, who runs day to day treatment delivery and the clinic team
  • Align clinic marketing, promotions and client acquisition with the wider brand and campaign calendar
  • Support therapist capacity planning and client experience as a driver of clinic revenue, not a separate silo from e-commerce

Distribution

  • Act as the founders' day to day point of commercial input into the UK distribution business and its department store counters

Performance & Analytics

  • Make data-led decisions across marketing, e-commerce and clinic, and sense-check every number, forecast and report, your own, your team's or AI-generated, before it goes further
  • Own the KPIs that matter: ROAS, CAC, LTV, conversion rate, clinic utilisation and contribution
  • Find growth through structured testing and optimisation

Leadership

  • Lead and develop an established London team, and build out capability as the US grows
  • Hire within your own function end to end: source, screen and close candidates yourself, not just oversee an agency or a shortlist
  • Manage agency and external partner relationships
  • Partner with retail, operations and the founders to align growth with brand, flagging problems, delays and mistakes as soon as you see them rather than after the fact

What you'll bring

  • Hands-on working knowledge of Shopify, Klaviyo and analytics tooling, sufficient to operate the tools yourself, not just direct people who do.
  • 7+ years in marketing and e-commerce leadership, ideally within beauty, luxury or premium consumer brands
  • A proven, verifiable track record of hands-on delivery in a small, founder-led business, not only strategy set at a larger company and executed by others under you
  • Experience owning a marketing or e-commerce P&L, accountable for commercial outcomes; exposure to a treatment, clinic or services P&L is a strong plus but not required
  • Deep expertise across paid media, SEO, CRM and social commerce
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience: sourcing, screening at volume and closing candidates personally
  • Comfort operating in a hands-on, build-phase environment, strategy and execution, not one or the other
  • A sharp commercial and analytical mind: comfortable checking your own numbers and catching mistakes before they reach the founders
  • Excellent stakeholder management, contactable references, and the ability to recruit and develop talent
  • Low ego under pressure: owns missed deadlines and mistakes directly rather than reassigning blame

About Embassy of Beauty

Embassy of Beauty discovers the world's most niche and exceptional beauty brands, the hidden gems that deliver remarkable results but rarely get found. We're a luxury e-commerce, retail and treatment destination on Kensington Church Street, known for launching standout brands into the UK market, and now expanding into the US. Every brand we carry is chosen through a deliberate curation process built on authenticity, efficacy and transparency, then tested by our own team across a full range of skin types before it reaches a client. The result is a business that earns trust through results, not noise.
