Head of Marketing & Communications

The Head of Marketing & Communications will oversee the marketing and communications strategy for a well known venue in central Manchester. This role will ensure all campaigns and messaging align with organisational goals, and drive engagement with the venue.

Client Details

This organisation is a well known leisure & events space in central Manchester. They have a well established marcomms function of 5 experienced marketers, and are looking for a new Head of Marketing to own and shape their future marketing strategy.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Head of Marketing & Communications role will include:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy.
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, ensuring consistent messaging and branding.
  • Manage external communications, including press releases and media relations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Analyse and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Lead and inspire the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
  • Manage budgets and ensure cost-effective marketing solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into the marketing strategy.

Profile

A successful Head of Marketing & Communications should have:

  • 5+ years experience in Marketing & Communications leadership
  • A background in a service based, hospitality, venues or events company would be highly advantageous (although not essential)
  • Other sector based experience that may be considered would include University experience, or public sector background.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills - this role will manage an established team of 5.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing best practices.
  • Experience in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in analysing marketing data and generating actionable insights.
  • A results-driven approach with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Job Offer
