About the Role

We are currently representing a leading global Financial Services firm in the appointment of high-calibre professionals as part of a period of strategic growth and investment.

Our client operates at the intersection of corporate, fiduciary and regulatory services, partnering with private equity houses, investment managers and international financial institutions. Backed by long-term institutional investment and an established global brand, the firm is scaling its capabilities, technology and international footprint.

This is an opportunity to join a business that combines the agility of a growth platform with the credibility, client base and governance of a market leader.

The Role

The Head of Marketing & Communications will lead and execute the global marketing, communications and brand strategy, ensuring the business has a clear, differentiated and consistent market presence that supports revenue growth, strengthens client relationships and enhances reputation.

Working closely with Business Development, Sales, CRM, service line and regional leaders, the successful candidate will drive integrated marketing activity that delivers measurable commercial outcomes. This includes brand positioning, thought leadership, communications, client engagement, digital marketing, events and demand generation.

The role will also play a key part in evolving the marketing and communications function, strengthening its commercial impact, improving performance measurement and ensuring marketing is fully aligned with wider business growth objectives.

This is an opportunity for a commercially minded, data-driven and creative leader who can combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to execution. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy, influencing senior stakeholders and personally driving the delivery of high-impact initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and deliver a global marketing and communications strategy aligned to the organisation's growth ambitions and commercial priorities.
  • Develop and maintain a clear and differentiated brand position across all markets, jurisdictions and client touchpoints.
  • Act as a strategic adviser to senior leadership on market trends, client needs, competitor activity and opportunities to strengthen market presence.
  • Lead internal and external communications, including thought leadership, executive communications, media engagement and reputation management.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, content, communications and client engagement channels.
  • Advance digital marketing capabilities, including website strategy, SEO, analytics, social media, marketing automation and demand generation.
  • Develop targeted client, sector and account-based marketing programmes in partnership with Business Development, Sales and CRM teams.
  • Create marketing initiatives that support pipeline generation, client retention, cross-selling and revenue growth.
  • Lead the organisation's global events and sponsorship strategy, ensuring activity supports commercial and business development objectives.
  • Establish robust measurement, reporting and attribution frameworks that demonstrate marketing's contribution to business performance.
  • Use data, market intelligence and client insights to inform decision-making and prioritise investment.
  • Drive the adoption of marketing technology, AI and automation to improve effectiveness, efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage marketing budgets, agencies and external partners to ensure strong return on investment.
  • Lead, develop and mentor the marketing and communications team, fostering a collaborative, accountable and high-performing culture.
  • Build strong relationships across leadership, commercial and operational teams to ensure marketing supports a consistent client experience globally.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
