Expanding this expertise internationally, Dem Museums continues its global growth with a strategic vision aligned with Türkiye’s cultural export ambitions, with new projects planned to launch in Rome in 2027.

Head of Marketing

The Head of Marketing is a senior commercial leadership role responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy for Timewalk Exhibition UK, with a primary focus on driving ticket sales, audience acquisition and revenue growth. The role will lead the end-to-end marketing strategy, from brand positioning and audience development to performance marketing, media, partnerships, PR, CRM and conversion optimization. This is a highly sales-driven and performance-oriented position. The successful candidate will be expected to take direct ownership of ticket sales performance, build scalable acquisition strategies and continuously optimize marketing investment to maximize ticket revenue and return on investment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver the UK marketing strategy with a clear focus on aggressive ticket sales and revenue targets.
  • Lead performance marketing across paid digital, social, CRM, PR, influencer and partnership channels, with full accountability for ROAS, CPA, conversion and ticket revenue.
  • Develop and execute high-impact campaigns that drive audience acquisition, ticket sales and sales velocity throughout the exhibition lifecycle.
  • Own the customer acquisition and conversion funnel, continuously optimizing audiences, creative, media spend, landing pages and ticketing journeys.
  • Build strategic partnerships with media, tourism, brands, influencers and relevant organizations to expand reach and generate incremental ticket sales.
  • Use data, consumer insights and real-time performance analytics to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing investment.
  • Lead internal teams and external agencies including digital marketing, creative and PR agencies, ensuring all marketing activity is commercially accountable and directly aligned with ticket sales targets.

Required Experience

  • Preferably at least 10 years of senior marketing experience.
  • Preferably experience in exhibitions, museums, entertainment, attractions, tourism, cultural experiences, events or other consumer-facing businesses where ticket sales and audience growth are key commercial KPIs.
  • Experience in taking direct ownership of ticket sales performance, building scalable acquisition strategies and continuously optimizing marketing investment to maximize ticket revenue and return on investment.

Compliance Requirements (UK Standards)

  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.
  • Basic DBS Check (criminal background screening).
  • Health & Safety training and compliance.
  • Fire safety and emergency evacuation awareness.
  • GDPR and data protection awareness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The candidate will be an experienced, commercially minded marketing leader with at least 10 years of senior marketing experience, preferably within exhibitions, museums, entertainment, attractions, tourism, cultural experiences, events or other consumer-facing businesses where ticket sales and audience growth are key commercial KPIs.
