Head of Marketing
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Marketing based in United Kingdom.
This is a hands-on, AI-native marketing leadership role with broad ownership across the marketing function. You’ll shape strategy, identify high-impact opportunities, and turn ideas into measurable initiatives. The role combines marketing expertise with a strong technical mindset, including AI agents, automation, analytics, and structured workflows. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their needs and connect marketing activity to business outcomes. Rather than following an established playbook, you’ll have the autonomy to determine priorities and build the approach from the ground up. You’ll collaborate directly with leadership and product teams in a flexible, experimentation-driven environment.
Accountabilities:
- Take ownership of marketing strategy and identify the areas where marketing can deliver the greatest business impact.
- Lead and execute initiatives across SEO, GEO, AEO, content, partnerships, customer marketing, retention, expansion, paid advertising, and analytics.
- Work directly with customers to understand their needs, perspectives, and experiences with the products.
- Analyze marketing data, existing activities, customer insights, and market opportunities to inform priorities and decisions.
- Build concrete plans for the marketing areas you own, explaining the rationale, expected impact, and approach.
- Manage initiatives hands-on from opportunity identification and planning through execution, measurement, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and apply AI agents, automation, integrations, and structured workflows to improve marketing efficiency and outcomes.
- Collaborate with leadership and product teams to connect marketing initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Continuously experiment with new marketing opportunities and adapt priorities based on results and changing business needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
