The role:
This role sits within our Ampa Group Services centralised support function and will partner exclusively with leadership in the Marrons entity as it continues to scale.
The Head of Marketing will operate as an executive function, leading on Marrons’ marketing governance and providing strategic leadership, developing and delivering an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with our commercial objectives and growth ambitions.

Working closely with the Marrons leadership and marketing team, business development, the central Ampa Marketing & PR teams, and external partners, you will continue to strengthen our brand, drive demand, bolster market share, enhance engagement and ensure marketing delivers commercial value across the business.
As the senior marketing adviser to the Marrons leadership team, you will champion marketing across the business, helping colleagues understand its value and ensuring it supports both client acquisition and long-term client relationships.
About Marrons:
Marrons is a top ten national planning and design consultancy, providing exceptional, trusted advice to the UK development industry. Our award-winning team of highly skilled professionals delivers best-in-class planning, design and environmental consultancy services, helping clients achieve successful outcomes while enhancing the places and communities in which they operate.
What we're looking for:
This role would suit an existing Head of Marketing with proven success in developing brands, leading strategic marketing programmes and delivering measurable commercial outcomes. You will be a confident cross-functional collaborator who is comfortable operating in senior leadership settings.
You will bring:
- Significant senior marketing leadership/governance experience within multi-brand complex organisations
- An in-depth understanding of brand strategy, positioning and reputation management
- Experience in developing integrated marketing strategies across both B2B & B2C audiences
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, including SEO, content marketing, social media, paid media and website optimisation
- Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies and external suppliers
- Commercial awareness, a highly organised approach and the ability to translate strategy into effective delivery while managing multiple priorities
- Curious, collaborative and adaptable, with a continuous improvement mindset
