The Head of Marketing – Health and Wellness will be a seasoned practitioner in a collaborative international marketing approach where strategy is developed from closely working with local markets. They will have evidence of strong thought-leadership, deep cultural empathy, they will thrive on leading by influence & have an infectious passion for consumer understanding. They will be experienced in operating in an environment of opposing ideas & deriving the maximum value from this. They will be used to ambiguity & will be able to hold this in tension.

The role has accountability for the collective delivery of financial performance alongside the relevant market teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the H&W marketing strategy for IM with appropriate alignment from local markets
- Establish a deep & forward-thinking knowledge bank of consumer attitudes/beliefs/behaviours towards H&W which shapes strategic thinking
- Develop a brand playbook which guides brand activation in smaller H&W markets
- Build a thorough understanding from both outside & within TWO of relevant H&W initiatives & their drivers of performance
- Work closely with Innovation Manager Italy & the Nordic marketing team to review Twinings positioning & portfolio strategy & how this can be further optimised & develop an innovation pipeline for the next 5 years
- Work with legal & regs to agree the appropriate regulatory support & process which supports our requirements for launches/claims in the functional space
- With the Marketing Director, inspire marketing excellence & world-class execution

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Deep marketing knowledge
- International marketing role experience in matrix environment
- Experience in either Food/Drink or Premium/Luxury brands
- Marketing H & W brands/deep knowledge of the H & W landscape
- Experience of the innovation process
- Ideally but not essentially, you will have evidence of successfully navigating through complex regulatory frameworks
