Head of Marketing & Communications

A leading international IT consultancy is entering its next phase of growth and requires a Head of Marketing & Communications to sharpen its market positioning and accelerate commercial performance. Operating at the forefront of digital transformation, technology advisory and complex enterprise change, the organisation partners with major corporates and public sector institutions to solve critical business challenges. With an established reputation for technical expertise and delivering high-impact transformation programmes, the business is now focused on building a more sophisticated, commercially driven marketing function. This role sits at the centre of that ambition.

This is a senior leadership position with end-to-end ownership of marketing, brand and go-to-market strategy across key sectors, service lines and international markets. The remit spans demand generation, account-based marketing, proposition development, thought leadership, sales enablement and strategic communications, with clear accountability for pipeline creation, client engagement and revenue contribution. Close collaboration with Sales, Consulting and senior Partners is essential, translating complex technology capabilities and consulting propositions into clear, differentiated and commercially compelling narratives. Alongside external positioning, the role will shape internal communications, ensuring employees are connected to the firm's strategy, culture and growth ambitions. A lean, high-performing team and specialist agencies sit within scope, alongside budget and marketing technology ownership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
