Head of Marketing

As the Head of Marketing, you'll lead the marketing strategy for a long-standing organisation in central Manchester with over 100+ employees. The role will be responsible for driving brand awareness and customer engagement. This role involves overseeing campaigns, managing a team, and ensuring marketing efforts align with business objectives to deliver measurable results.

Our client is a long-standing, purpose-led organisation focused on delivering meaningful value to its members rather than shareholders. Operating across both the not-for-profit and financial services sectors, they are looking for a Head of Marketing to lead an established team and drive the next phase of brand, digital and membership growth.

Description

The key responsibilities for the Head of Marketing will include:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals.
  • Oversee and manage all marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet targets and deliver results.
  • Lead and inspire the marketing team, fostering collaboration and professional development.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure brand consistency and alignment with company objectives.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and website content.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, using data to refine strategies.

Profile

A successful Head of Marketing should have the below experience:

  • 5+ years experience in a Marketing leadership role, ideally at 'Head of Marketing' level.

  • Team leadership experience - this role will inherit an experienced team of 6.

  • A strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and analytics.

  • Transferable industry backgrounds may include regulated industries, charities, public sector or not-for-profit bodies.

  • Experience in modernising marketing practices, including utilising automation + CRM systems.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management + communication skills.

  • Experience in developing and managing successful marketing campaigns.

  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives.

  • Applicants should also be comfortable working in a wholly on-site based role

Job Offer

On offer for the successful Head of Marketing:

  • Basic salary of up to £70,000, dependent on the level of experience.
  • City Centre office location in Manchester.
  • Opportunity to join a well-established organisation, providing great job security.

Please note, this role will not offer hybrid working, and will be 5 days a week on-site in Manchester
