About Us

We’re Nominet – a world-leading domain name registry operating at the heart of the UK internet. While we're best known for running .UK domains, our DNS expertise also underpins critical internet infrastructure that government services, including the NHS, rely on.

As a public benefit company, our work has a positive impact on society. We’ve donated millions to projects that use technology to improve people’s lives and have committed to delivering £60m worth of support over the next three years.

The Role

The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing Nominet’s customer marketing strategy to drive awareness, customer acquisition, retention and revenue growth for the registry business.

This role ensures our domain, registry and DNS products and services are effectively positioned in the market and aligned with organisational goals. You’ll lead a small high-performing team, oversee the full marketing mix, and work closely with Commercial, Product, Customer Success and Corporate Affairs teams.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned to business objectives, growth targets, and Nominet’s role as the trusted .UK registry and public benefit company.
  • Own go-to-market plans for domain, registry and DNS products, services and partnerships.
  • Lead management of the .UK brand and registry services, ensuring clear, consistent and trusted messaging.
  • Drive thought leadership through content, events, insights and sector engagement.
  • Deliver multi-channel acquisition campaigns across digital, paid, organic, email, social and partnerships.
  • Oversee performance of customer websites and registrar resources, ensuring accessible and compliant customer journeys.
  • Work closely with Product and Commercial teams on new product development, pricing strategy and propositions.
  • Use customer, market and competitor insight to shape propositions, campaigns and service uptake.
  • Build relationships with customers, government bodies, regulators, industry partners and strategic accounts.
  • Grow Nominet’s presence with global and regional stakeholders including ICANN and CENTR.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, ROI reporting and insight-led performance improvements.
  • Manage the marketing budget and agency/supplier relationships.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making as part of the Extended Leadership Team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
