Description

🚀 Shape the Marketing Engine Behind Our Next Stage of Growth

Sensat is moving into an exciting stage of growth. We’ve built strong enterprise traction and are now focused on scaling through a land-and-expand commercial model.

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Head of Marketing to lead the function over the next 12 months. You’ll evolve our approach towards account-based marketing, bring the team and specialist support together around clear priorities, and ensure Marketing is directly contributing to commercial growth.

This isn’t a steady-state leadership role. There’s plenty already in place, but still lots to shape and we need someone who can quickly see what matters, create a clear plan and get things moving.

🛠️ What you'll be doing

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Owning the marketing strategy and driving its execution across the next 12 months.
  • Building and implementing an account-based marketing approach that supports our enterprise land-and-expand model.
  • Leading a talented team across digital, content and field marketing, supported by specialist agencies and fractional partners.
  • Creating clear priorities, ownership and timelines across the team.
  • Developing campaigns that support customer acquisition, expansion and revenue growth.
  • Working closely with Sales, Customer Partnerships and Product to align Marketing around the right accounts and commercial opportunities.
  • Managing marketing resources and priorities across the UK and US.
  • Overseeing brand, content, social, website, product marketing, field marketing, sales enablement, SEO and AEO.
  • Improving marketing attribution and showing how activity contributes across a complex enterprise sales journey.

💭 You might be the kind of person we’re looking for if...

  • You can see the bigger commercial picture but still enjoy getting close to the work.
  • You’re comfortable joining an evolving environment, quickly working out what matters and turning multiple priorities into a focused plan.
  • You know how to bring people together, challenge constructively and keep a talented team focused on the work that will make the biggest difference.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

🎯 Your experience might look something like this…

  • Strong B2B SaaS marketing leadership experience, ideally within a business scaling from £5m to £20m+ ARR.
  • A proven track record of building and implementing account-based marketing across a go-to-market function.
  • Experience supporting an enterprise sales model with long, complex buying journeys.
  • A strong commercial mindset and experience creating meaningful marketing attribution.
  • Experience leading and developing a small, multidisciplinary marketing team.
  • The ability to turn complex technical information into clear and compelling messaging.
  • Strong stakeholder-management skills, particularly when partnering with Sales and senior leadership.
  • Experience within infrastructure, construction or another technical industry would be useful, but isn’t essential.

🌱 You’ll thrive here if...

  • You like joining a business with real momentum but still plenty left to shape.
  • You’re comfortable setting the direction, getting into the detail when needed and making decisions without overcomplicating things.
  • Most importantly, you know how to bring people with you, keep a team focused and turn ambitious plans into work that actually gets delivered.

🤝 Why Sensat?

We’re building technology that helps infrastructure organisations make smarter decisions across some of the world’s most important projects.

We’ve proven where we create real value. Now comes the exciting bit: turning that success into a repeatable enterprise growth engine across the UK and US.

There’s already a strong foundation: a small but talented in-house marketing team with strong digital and content expertise, supported by external specialists. What we need now is someone who can bring it all together, sharpen the focus and turn good work into measurable growth.

You’ll have the freedom to shape our account-based marketing approach, work closely with teams across the business and leave a genuine mark on how Sensat goes to market.

If that sounds like the kind of challenge you’re looking for, we’d love to hear from you.
