Head of Marketing | Cyber Security / MSSP
Remote UK | £70,000–£80,000 + Bonus
I’m working with a growing UK cyber security business looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to take ownership of the marketing function and help drive the next stage of growth.
Operating within the managed cyber security / MSSP market, the business has a strong heritage delivering security services into complex environments and is continuing to develop its technology, proposition and go-to-market approach.
This is a genuinely hands-on leadership role. You’ll inherit an established operating model, a small internal team and retained agency support, with plenty of scope to shape how the marketing function develops.
You’ll take ownership of:
- Brand, content and thought leadership
- Demand generation and ABM campaigns
- Website, SEO and emerging GEO / AI search
- Events, launches, PR and partner marketing
- HubSpot, lead flow and SDR hand-offs
- Marketing budget and external agency relationships
- Increasing the use of AI and automation across marketing

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
