Shape the future of one of England’s greatest cathedrals.

Lincoln Cathedral is one of the world’s most remarkable places. A place of worship, heritage, culture, community and welcome, it attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors each year while serving as the spiritual heart of the Diocese of Lincoln.

We’re looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to lead the next chapter of our audience growth and engagement.

This is a rare opportunity to shape how one of the UK’s most iconic heritage attractions presents itself to the world. Working closely with our Commercial Director, you’ll lead the strategic planning and hands-on delivery of marketing that inspires visitors, grows audiences, supports commercial income and celebrates the Cathedral’s unique story.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll be responsible for our digital marketing, website development, campaigns, brand and storytelling, while acting as the steward of the Cathedral’s communications – ensuring our voice is authentic, engaging and consistent across both our commercial activities and our wider mission.

This is a role for someone who enjoys thinking strategically but isn’t afraid to get stuck in. You’ll be just as comfortable developing marketing plans and analysing performance as you are shaping digital campaigns, directing creative content and identifying new opportunities to engage audiences.
