Gateshead, Hybrid working, 12 month Fixed term contract
Are you a commercially driven marketing leader who thrives on delivering measurable business growth?
We're looking for a strategic and influential marketing professional to lead our New Category and Advertising teams. To deliver new cars/vans/motorcycles cost effective enquiries to achieve sales targets, and maximise RoI returns from our advertising paid media channels across all marketing categories.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll lead the planning, governance and performance of our New Category and Advertising activity, ensuring marketing investment delivers commercial results.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Driving demand, sales performance and customer retention across our new vehicle categories.
- Leading the delivery of major Group-wide new vehicle events.
- Setting annual and quarterly marketing priorities aligned to business objectives.
- Owning advertising strategy, media investment and budget governance.
- Ensuring campaigns are insight-led, commercially focused and delivering measurable outcomes.
- Influencing senior stakeholders and making clear commercial recommendations.
- Developing high-performing teams with strong accountability and ownership.

What We're Looking For
You'll be an experienced senior marketing leader with the credibility to influence at board and executive level.
You'll Bring
- Proven success leading large-scale commercial marketing functions or categories.
- Strong experience aligning marketing strategy with sales, operations and business priorities.
- A track record of managing significant marketing investment and delivering measurable ROI.
- Excellent understanding of advertising, media and integrated campaign strategy.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing managers and building high-performing teams.
- The commercial judgement to balance growth ambitions with governance, brand and compliance requirements.
