The Opportunity

A well-established, independent professional services consultancy is seeking to appoint its first Head of Marketing to bring greater structure, consistency and strategic direction to the marketing function.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected, relationship-led business with a strong reputation in its market and an ambitious but measured growth agenda. The organisation has built an impressive track record through the quality of its work, long-term client relationships and a hands-on, collaborative approach. It is now looking to strengthen its market presence, sharpen its positioning and create a more commercially aligned marketing strategy to support the next phase of growth.

This role will suit an experienced marketing professional who enjoys operating at both strategic and operational level and who is motivated by the opportunity to shape a function, influence senior stakeholders and make a visible impact.

Hybrid working, 3 days per week office based either in the North East, Yorkshire, or Manchester

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
