Job Description

As Head of Marketing Operations, you will help bring this purpose to life by building the foundations that support growth, stronger adviser relationships and better outcomes for clients while investing in your tomorrow.

Aberdeen Adviser is investing in its marketing capability as part of a wider growth and transformation strategy. The team combines deep industry knowledge with modern B2B marketing practices to strengthen adviser engagement, support commercial growth and deliver measurable impact. Working collaboratively across Marketing, Data, Technology, CRM and Sales, the team plays a key role in helping enable our clients to be better investors.

About the Role

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on marketing operations professional who enjoys turning strategy into scalable execution. You will lead the marketing operations roadmap across marketing technology, data, automation, reporting and campaign operations while managing a small team and influencing a broad network of stakeholders. Working within an established technology and CRM environment, you will build practical solutions that improve efficiency, targeting and commercial insight. This role offers the opportunity to shape how marketing operates across Aberdeen Adviser and develop capabilities that support long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the marketing operations roadmap across martech, data, segmentation, lifecycle automation, campaign operations, reporting and attribution.
  • Translate marketing strategy into practical system, data, process and reporting.
  • Build scalable audience segmentation, lifecycle journeys, lead scoring principles, nurture programmes and sales hand-off processes.
  • Establish operating standards for campaign execution, governance, QA, templates, journey design and self-service enablement.
  • Develop trusted reporting and attribution frameworks that demonstrate engagement, pipeline influence and commercial impact.
  • Continuously improve processes, technology usage and operational effectiveness through innovation and optimisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
