Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Marketing & PR will be responsible for leading all marketing, communications, public relations, brand, events, digital marketing, customer engagement, and product communications activities across the UK business. The role will be instrumental in establishing and growing a premium automotive brand, building awareness, reputation, consideration, and loyalty while supporting commercial objectives and retailer network performance.
This is a strategic leadership position requiring a highly experienced automotive marketing professional with a strong background in premium OEM brands. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of launching and growing automotive brands, leading integrated marketing and PR functions, managing agencies, engaging with media and key stakeholders, and delivering measurable business results in a highly competitive market.

Main Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Positioning – Develop and execute the UK marketing strategy to build brand awareness, strengthen premium positioning, and ensure consistent brand identity.
- Public Relations & Communications – Lead PR strategy, media relations, executive profiling, crisis communications, and corporate reputation management.
- Product Launches & Marketing Campaigns – Deliver integrated product launch campaigns and marketing initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and sales.
- Digital Marketing & Customer Experience – Oversee digital, social media, CRM, content, and website strategies, using analytics to improve engagement and ROI.
- Events & Brand Experiences – Plan and execute vehicle launches, media events, exhibitions, sponsorships, and premium customer experiences.
- Agency & Budget Management – Manage external marketing and PR agencies while overseeing budgets, KPIs, and return on investment.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management – Lead the marketing team, influence senior leadership, collaborate across functions, and act as a brand ambassador internally and externally.

Education, Skills And Personal Characteristics Required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' automotive marketing and communications experience.
- Significant leadership experience within a premium automotive OEM environment.
- Proven success in developing and executing integrated marketing and PR strategies for premium automotive brands.
- Experience leading vehicle launches and large-scale brand campaigns.
- Strong understanding of the UK automotive market, customer trends, media landscape, and retailer operations.
- Demonstrated experience managing agencies, budgets, and cross-functional teams.
