Head of Marketing - Private Luxury Events

Borough, South London (SE1 1EP) - Hybrid

Fixed-Term Contract until 30 June 2027

Private Luxury Events: Expect the Extraordinary

Private Luxury Events delivers world-class experiences to the luxury travel community through its event brands Amour, Private Luxury, TFest and Ultra. Our ethos has always been to put the human experience first. This mantra has powered some of the most respected events in the industry, inspiring thousands of luxury travel professionals around the world and at the heart of everything we do lies a passion for connecting people.

Part of Worldwide Events Group

Private Luxury Events sits within Worldwide Events Group, founded in 2004 and now a recognised leader in global MICE and luxury travel. Across our events, we bring people together and facilitate meaningful relationships, a philosophy we call H2H, human-to-human connection.

Innovation drives our evolution. We're embracing AI to elevate personalisation, streamline event design, and create smarter, more intuitive experiences for our global communities.

Our Sister Brand: M&I

M&I brings together high-calibre meeting planners and exhibitors from the hospitality industry through a series of standout events across Europe, the Middle East, and the Americas. Our portfolio includes M&I Expo, M&I Flagship, M&I Healthcare, and M&I Luxe.

The Role

As Head of Marketing, PLE, you'll be part of one of the most exciting luxury event portfolios in the global travel industry.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you'll manage the marketing team and tactical planning for PLE whilst remaining closely involved in the day-to-day delivery of campaigns that inspire, engage and grow our global community.

This is a hands-on role for an experienced, talented and passionate marketer who loves bringing ideas to life. You'll nurture and motivate a small, talented team while collaborating closely with our design, content, commercial and event management teams to create standout campaigns, launch new event concepts and strengthen PLE's position within the luxury travel landscape.

We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, commercially aware, loves events and brand building and comes full of ideas.

Success in this role will come from balancing creative thinking with operational excellence, building strong relationships, and creating marketing campaigns that inspire people to join the PLE community.

Who Will Thrive in This Role?

This role would suit someone with experience leading a small marketing team and ideally a prior Head of Marketing role on their CV who is looking for an opportunity to make a real impact within a fast-growing events business. The role is more about organisation, planning, and execution than it is about strategy, so we want someone happy to get stuck in with the team.

You'll thrive if you:

  • Love building brands and bringing creative ideas to life
  • Enjoy being hands-on and getting involved in campaign development and execution
  • Are naturally curious and always looking for new ideas, trends and opportunities
  • Take ownership but enjoy collaborating with others
  • Build strong relationships with colleagues, partners and customers
  • Are excited by brand trends, travel, hospitality, lifestyle and crafting exceptional experiences

This is a fixed-term contract position (with the potential to become a permanent role) for an exceptionally creative, commercially minded, and experienced Head of Marketing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
