At Hired By Startups, we’ve partnered with a rapidly scaling social impact startup to hire their first Head of Marketing.

Founded by a serial entrepreneur and unicorn founder, this startup is growing incredibly fast, 2.5x quarter on quarter, and adding 10k new customers each month.

About the Role

As Head of Marketing, you will:

  • Own and evolve the startup’s brand, keeping tone, messaging and visual identity consistent across every customer touchpoint.
  • Translate business strategy into a marketing strategy, growing the current proposition while establishing positioning for a new range of services.
  • Build a deep understanding of both audiences, older people and family carers, and tailor the messaging to each.
  • Own the end-to-end customer journey across multiple channels designing cross-sell journeys and new entry points that grow lifetime value.
  • Lead the operational delivery of marketing, managing internal resource and external agencies across PR, content, partnerships, events and brand.
  • Evaluate and grow new channels alongside existing ones, and build the strategic partnerships that strengthen reputation and reach.
  • Raise the quality of every customer-facing communication and build a culture of testing, rapid learning and measurable commercial outcomes.

About You

As Head of Marketing, you’ll need:

  • Significant experience leading marketing in a high-growth B2C business, across brand, customer lifecycle and proposition.
  • A track record of building trusted consumer brands, particularly where the proposition has expanded over time.
  • Strong commercial instincts, with experience turning business strategy into measurable marketing outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of customer insight, segmentation and lifecycle marketing, with evidence of improving acquisition, engagement, retention and lifetime value.
  • Experience launching and scaling new channels, alongside strong digital and performance marketing knowledge.
  • Outstanding storytelling, with an exceptional eye for clear messaging and high-quality creative.
  • Comfortable operating strategically while staying hands-on, and building a team as the business grows.

Salary, Location, Benefits

As Head of Marketing, you can expect:

  • Base salary of £80k-£120k, depending on experience
  • Mostly office based (West London), with flex once you’re established in role
  • Free gym membership
