⭐️ Head of Marketing

📍 London (Hybrid 3x pw)
💰 £60,000 to £70,000 + Perks

Our client is one of the most respected names in speciality coffee, with a global reputation. With revenues of c.£10m, double-digit growth and a successful mix of D2C and wholesale, the business works with some of the best independent cafés and hospitality operators while selling directly to a highly engaged community of coffee enthusiasts. They are now looking for an exceptional Head of Marketing to lead a talented team and own how the brand looks, speaks, connects and grows. 🚀

Role & Responsibilities: 📋

  • 🎨 Own the Brand & Creative Direction
    Protect and evolve the brand positioning, visual identity and tone of voice, ensuring everything the customer sees and experiences feels distinctive and consistent.

  • 🚀 Bring Campaigns & Product Launches to Life
    Lead the creative concept and execution of campaigns across new product launches, seasonal moments, loyalty and wider brand initiatives.

  • ☕ Build Brilliant Product Storytelling
    Turn an incredibly fast-moving product pipeline, with around 50 coffee launches each year into compelling stories that make customers want to discover, engage and buy.

  • 📈 Drive Marketing Performance
    Own and report on key metrics across acquisition, conversion, retention and AOV, using performance and customer insight to continuously improve marketing activity.

  • 📱 Develop Paid & Digital Marketing
    Take ownership of the evolving paid-media strategy, identifying where investment can drive incremental growth without losing what makes the brand special.

  • 🗓️ Own the Marketing Calendar
    Bring structure to a busy commercial calendar, coordinating launches and campaigns across e-commerce, wholesale, education, events and the wider business.

  • 🤝 Connect Marketing with the Business
    Work closely across Coffee Buying, E-Commerce, Wholesale and Operations to ensure campaigns are commercially relevant and brilliantly executed.

  • 👥 Lead & Develop the Marketing Team
    Lead a Marketing team of 5 spanning e-commerce, content and product, setting clear priorities, KPIs and standards while developing the people around you.

What’s on Offer? 🤝

  • Salary: £60,000 to £70,000
  • 5% to 8% Pension Contribution

Do you have the following to apply? ✅

  • Brand & Creative: A strong creative eye with the ability to protect a brand while continually finding new and engaging ways to bring it to life.
  • Commercial Marketing: Comfortable balancing brand building with acquisition, retention, conversion, AOV and wider commercial objectives.
  • Campaigns: Experience taking campaigns and product launches from initial idea and creative concept through to execution and measurement.
  • Digital & Paid: Strong understanding of digital marketing, with experience managing or developing paid-media activity.
  • Team Leadership: Experience leading, coaching and developing a small multi-disciplinary marketing team.
  • Fast-Paced Consumer: Comfortable managing multiple launches, projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.
  • Food, Drink or Hospitality: Ideally from food & beverage, hospitality or a closely related consumer category. If coming from outside food & beverage, previous exposure to hospitality would be highly advantageous.
  • Curiosity: You don't need to arrive as a coffee expert, but you do need to want to become one.
