MADE Careers is partnering with a globally recognised architecture, urbanism and design practice to hire a Head of Marketing, joining the senior team at an exciting point in the continued growth of its UK business.

This is a senior strategic role sitting across marketing, communications, business development and work winning, helping shape how the practice goes to market, builds its profile and ultimately wins new work.

Working closely with the UK leadership team, you'll bring together market insight, communications and bid strategy to ensure marketing activity is commercially focused and aligned with the wider ambitions of the business.

We're looking for someone who understands that great marketing within architecture is about far more than communications. You'll have the commercial awareness to understand where opportunities are coming from, the confidence to challenge and advise senior leaders and the experience to turn business priorities into a clear and effective marketing strategy.

The Role

As Head of Marketing, you'll have strategic oversight of the UK marketing function, working closely with senior leadership, sector leads and the wider Marketing and Business Development teams.

You'll help identify where the practice should be focusing its efforts, strengthen its position within key markets and ensure bids, campaigns, communications and client engagement are working together to support growth.

A key part of the role will be work winning strategy. You'll bring insight and structure to major opportunities, working with senior teams to develop the right approach, messaging and positioning long before a bid reaches submission stage.

Alongside this, you'll lead and develop the marketing team, ensuring strong day to day delivery while keeping the function focused on the bigger commercial picture.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
