The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced marketing leader to join Clarks as Head of Marketing UK ROI & EMEA on a maternity cover contract.
As the driving force behind marketing across the UK, Republic of Ireland and EMEA, you'll lead the activation and localisation of our regional marketing strategy, ensuring global brand plans are translated into engaging, commercially effective campaigns that resonate with local consumers.
This is a strategically important leadership role, sitting within both the Marketing Leadership Team and the UK ROI & EMEA Regional Leadership Team. You'll be responsible for creating compelling consumer journeys, building brand desire, driving commercial performance and delivering a seamless brand experience across all customer touchpoints.
Working closely with global, regional and commercial stakeholders, you'll help shape how one of the world's most recognised footwear brands connects with consumers across multiple markets.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead the development and execution of the UK, ROI & EMEA marketing plan.
- Activate and localise global brand strategies to drive regional growth and relevance.
- Deliver integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, PR, retail, wholesale and trade channels.
- Develop engaging consumer experiences, with a particular focus on Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) channels.
- Partner with regional leadership teams to ensure marketing plans support commercial priorities.
- Manage marketing investment and ensure activities deliver clear commercial outcomes and ROI.
- Oversee regional adaptation and deployment of seasonal campaigns, content and brand assets.
- Lead, develop and inspire the UK, ROI & EMEA marketing team.
- Build strong partnerships with global marketing teams, ensuring regional priorities are represented and understood.
- Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring best practice, effectiveness and value.
- Measure, evaluate and report on marketing performance, using insights to inform future strategy.

About You
We're looking for a commercially minded marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution.
You'll bring:
- Significant experience leading marketing within a consumer-facing brand.
- Experience working across multiple markets and translating global strategies into regional activations.
- Strong knowledge of the full marketing mix, including digital, media, PR, retail, ecommerce and trade marketing.
- Experience within retail, footwear, apparel or a similar consumer lifestyle sector.
- A track record of delivering business growth through effective marketing strategies.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including working with senior leaders.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a complex, fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
