Head of Marketing - GEKO Energy

About the Job

Want to build a marketing function from the ground up, rather than inherit someone else's? This role owns every part of marketing at GEKO Energy, from Meta ads and creative to brand, email and the team that delivers it all. This is a senior hire and we're looking for someone who wants to grow with the business long term. The role is designed to become our Marketing Director position, and for the right person there is a clear route to a directorship and an equity stake as we scale.

About Us

GEKO Energy is a new MCS-certified solar installer, but we're not starting from scratch. We're built on years of success in solar lead generation and sales, and that gives us a pipeline and a commercial engine most new installers don't have. We completed 20 installations in our first month, we're on track for 450 installs in our first year, and the ambition is to be a top five UK installer within five years. We intend to scale aggressively, and marketing sits at the centre of that.

The Role

Paid Social and Lead Generation

  • Own our Meta ads account end to end, including strategy, campaign structure, budgets, audiences and optimisation
  • Scale spend profitably while keeping cost per lead and lead quality in line with sales capacity
  • Build a structured testing programme across creative, copy, offers, audiences and landing pages
  • Report on performance in terms that matter to the business: cost per lead, cost per sale and return on spend

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
