Head of Marketing
Multi-brand food operator | West London | 4-day week | £70,000–£80,000 + performance bonus
Build brands people crave. Drive customer growth. Help scale a fast-growing food business. We are working with a fast-growing UK multi-brand food operator with a portfolio of consumer brands across more than 75 locations nationwide and ambitious plans to expand to 150 sites.
The Package
- Salary: £70,000–£80,000 + performance bonus
- Work Schedule: 4-day working week
- Location: 3 days per week in the West London office
About the Role
The business is looking for a commercially minded, brand-led Marketing Lead to take ownership of its day-to-day marketing strategy and help build the next stage of growth.
This is a broad role with genuine influence. You will work directly with the founders to develop the marketing plan, improve performance across major delivery marketplaces, strengthen the consumer brands and build a more effective content and growth engine. You will have room to test ideas, introduce new ways of working and help shape how the marketing team develops as the business scales.
The right person will combine strong commercial instincts with good brand judgement and the ability to turn strategy into action.
Your Remit
Your role will span three major growth areas.
Make Delivery Platforms Perform Harder
The business already has significant scale across the major food-delivery marketplaces. You will help lead the strategy behind approximately £80k of monthly media spend, working closely with the team member responsible for day-to-day platform activity.
You will own campaign planning, promotional strategy, performance analysis and relationships with key marketplace partners. You will be expected to understand the economics behind the activity, identify opportunities to improve efficiency and help increase ROAS as the estate continues to grow.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
Build Consumer Brands with Real Pull
A major opportunity is to create brands that customers actively seek out rather than relying too heavily on paid marketplace visibility.
You will help develop distinctive brand positioning, campaigns and creative ideas across the portfolio. You will also build a stronger content and social engine, test new acquisition channels and identify partnerships and collaborations that can generate measurable demand.
A key objective will be to increase organic and brand-led demand over time, reducing the business's dependence on paid acquisition.
Support Expansion from 75+ to 150 Locations
Marketing will also play an important role in supporting the next phase of estate growth.
You will work with the founders and wider team on the positioning, campaigns, content and collateral required to support new locations and attract high-quality partners. As the estate expands, you will help ensure the brands have the awareness and customer demand required to make new locations successful.
Your Opportunity
You will join a lean marketing function with the opportunity to influence how it develops.
There is already support around marketplace execution, and you will help determine where additional resource will have the greatest impact across brand, content, social and growth. That could include permanent hires, freelancers, agencies and AI tooling.
The objective is not to build a large team. It is to build a smart, commercially effective one.
AI-forward, with strong human judgement The business is integrating AI deeply into how it operates, and marketing will be no different.
They are looking for someone who naturally uses AI to improve research, analysis, content production, experimentation and repetitive workflows. You do not need to be an AI specialist. You do need to be curious about how modern tools can make a small team significantly more productive.

What You Bring
You will probably thrive here if you…
- Have strong experience in a broad marketing management, senior marketing or marketing lead role.
- Have had meaningful ownership of marketing plans and campaigns rather than working purely as an executional specialist.
- Think commercially and are comfortable working with revenue, ROI, ROAS and performance data.
- Have hands-on experience managing or overseeing meaningful paid-media budgets.
- Understand how brand, content, social and performance marketing work together to create demand.
- Can develop creative ideas without assuming large budgets or large teams.
- Are comfortable moving between strategy and execution in a fast-moving business.
- Can work confidently with founders, agencies, platform partners and cross-functional teams.
- Are curious about AI and already use it practically in your work.
Experience in delivery marketplaces, QSR, food delivery, franchising, hospitality or multi-site businesses would be a major advantage, but it is not essential.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, success would mean:
- Stronger organic and brand-led demand across the portfolio.
- More efficient marketplace and paid acquisition activity.
- A more consistent and effective content and social engine.
- Marketing playing a clear role in supporting the journey from 75+ to 150 locations.
- A lean marketing function with better systems, clearer priorities and less reliance on founder involvement in day-to-day execution.
If you want a broad marketing role where you can influence the strategy, build brands, work closely with founders and see the commercial impact of your decisions quickly, we would love to hear from you.
