About Us

Since our founding in 2009, Ticketer has grown to become the UK's leading provider of real-time information, data analytics and ticketing solutions for the bus and coach industry. Today, we work with some of the UK's largest transport operators, including Arriva, Go-Ahead Group and National Express, as well as the majority of local authorities and commercial bus and coach operators across the country.

If you've travelled by bus outside London, there's a good chance Ticketer was powering your journey—from the ticket machine onboard to the software and data services working behind the scenes to keep services running smoothly.

As we continue our growth journey, we're looking for an ambitious and commercially focused Head of Marketing to lead our marketing function and play a key role in driving business growth, brand awareness and customer engagement.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic leadership role with a strong hands-on element. You'll be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact marketing strategy that generates pipeline, strengthens our market-leading position and supports our ambitious growth plans.

We're looking for someone who enjoys both setting direction and delivering results—someone who can combine strategic thinking with practical execution, leveraging data, insight and creativity to build a scalable marketing engine.

You'll work closely with teams across Product, Operations, Customer Success and Commercial functions to ensure marketing supports every stage of the customer journey, from acquisition through to retention and growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Marketing Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, objectives and KPIs, aligned to business goals and growth targets.
  • Lead, develop and scale a high-performing marketing function.
  • Establish effective planning, reporting and campaign management processes to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure marketing supports product development, customer engagement and commercial success.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
