Role Description
The Head of Mathematics & Growth Strategy is a full-time remote role responsible for leading FcC’s mathematics program and driving strategic growth initiatives. This role oversees the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of math curricula for ages 5–18, ensuring alignment with best practices in mathematics education and learner outcomes. The role also focuses on growth strategy by:
- Identifying new markets
- Optimizing program offerings
- Supporting marketing and partnership efforts
- Using data-driven insights to expand enrollment and enhance brand visibility
This position works cross-functionally with academic, operations, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive program delivery and sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Mathematics and Mathematics Education, with the ability to design rigorous and engaging learning experiences for ages 5–18.
- Qualified Teacher status or equivalent teaching certification, with demonstrated classroom or online teaching experience in mathematics.
- Proven experience in Curriculum Development, including creating, evaluating, and iterating math curricula and learning materials.
- Educational Leadership skills, such as leading teaching teams, mentoring educators, and driving academic quality and standards.
- Experience in growth strategy or education-focused business development, including data analysis, enrollment growth, and market expansion.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional remote teams and stakeholders.
- Comfort with online teaching platforms, digital tools, and learning management systems; experience with edtech environments is an advantage.
- Advanced degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Education Leadership, or a related field is preferred.
