Head of Maths (£12,500 TLR) | Fantastic Secondary School | Hertfordshire, Bushey
A forward thinking & leading Secondary School in the Borough of Hertfordshire, Bushey are on the hunt for a Head of Maths (Maths Teacher) for a January 2027 start. This is a permanent & full-time contract.
This "Fantastic" Secondary School is renowned throughout the Borough as bringing education to life and ensuring that all teachers think about the bigger picture for pupils & not just about exam results.
You'll be leading a large team of Maths Teachers made up of Trainee Teachers, ECT, Teach First & experienced Maths Teachers.
This Head of Maths (Maths Teacher) opportunity will allow you to both grow / develop a fantastic curriculum, while work alongside some fantastic practitioners.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Head of Maths (£12,500 TLR)
- Leading a large team of Maths Teachers (KS3-KS5)
- Helping design & tailor a Maths curriculum to suit the cohorts needs / wants
- Manage multiple different personalities
Start Date:
- January 2027
Contract Type:
- Permanent - Full Time
Pay Scale:
- MPS3 - UPS3 + TLR1b (£12,500)
Location:
- Borough of Hertfordshire, Bushey
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Must have UK QTS
- Ability to manage a range of personalities
- Ability to motivate, inspire & drive standards throughout
- Strong understanding of Maths curriculum
- Fantastic expectations for yourself & fellow Maths Teachers
