The role
This is a high-profile position that will require flexibility and a proactive approach, including regular out-of-hours work to respond to the demands of a 24/7 news cycle, as well as attendance at key national union and political conferences.
The person
We’re Looking For Someone With
- Deep expertise across all forms of media - print, broadcast, digital, national, regional, and specialist - with a strong understanding of how news is made and consumed.
- Strategic insight into the role of trade unions within the broader socio-economic and political landscape, nationally and internationally.
- A strong track record of delivering impactful media campaigns.
- Extensive hands-on experience, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a clear commitment to the values and mission of the trade union movement.
