Head of Media Sales
The Head of Media Sales will provide strategic leadership and management to the advertising team, while developing, implementing and maintaining the organisation’s overall media strategy.
The successful candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers across media agencies and brand owners. You will lead the development of media sites from initial concept through to delivery, incorporating the latest technologies and effectively project-managing changes from inception to completion.
You will identify, source and implement innovative new ideas and commercial opportunities to maximise revenue and drive continued growth for the business.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced media sales leader to make a significant impact, shape the organisation’s media strategy and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To formulate the annual budget, set objectives and team, sales targets and to review the rate cars
- To set and agree sales targets and carry out regular one to one meetings / appraisals and weekly sales meetings for the media team
- To achieve and exceed sales targets by assisting sales team by visiting agency senior management regularly
- Assist media team to make sure that all advertisements are installed in-line with contractual obligations
- To manage and deliver projects (alongside external project management resource) for the department, such as new media sites and or replacements for current media sites
- To be informed on the outdoor media market situation and industry trends, attending any conferences and exhibitions where relevant
- Efficient management if budgets and costs reporting to Chief Commercial Officer
- Ensure all marketing tools are up to date and relevant

Qualifications:
- BSc degree – desirable not essential
- Excellent People Management Experience
- Experience in a Head of Position
- Strong experience working in out of home advertising industry
- Experience of managing client and agency relationships
- Excellent commercial acumen
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office package including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Working Hours:
- Full time 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
- This role is offered on a 9 month FTC
